regarding the rain, i've got a little mantra:

if my socks still rock, my mood is good.
if my socks get wet, my mood is dead.

that's why i get agitated when i get drenched. or maybe that's just an excuse to be a whiny little bitch.

either way...

i talked to D today about social activities. and that in a way relates to 'being cool', 'cool', 'acting cool', 'what defines cool' and part thereof. you get the drift.

i conclude that just as you wouldn't judge a dog's fur to be beautiful or a dog to be pretty, you don't judge people by the way they dress and conduct themselves.

why?

simply because dogs have millions of breeds. and each one has different fur characteristics and mannerisms.

duh. you knew that already didnt you? so why the hell should people be judged differently when there are quintillions of combinations and types of character?

what you define as cool may be disgusting to other individuals. what you define as stylish may be shambolic to another.

a person is not defined by the amount of friends he has or whether he be stylish. a person is not defined by the social activities he may choose to indulge in. true style comes from within and is what one is comfortable in.

i dont know what it is for girls but for guys, you are defined by the size of your television and your car.

that being said, there's still no excuse for dressing badly. = )

so thanks for your 3 minutes and may you take another 2 to reflect on whether you are living up to your own definition of cool. whatever it is in life, you should never let yourself down.
