i pondered deep and hard today and realised that...
even a broken clock that does not tick
tells the time right TWICE a day
and that made me come to terms that even for a person who feels totally hopeless. useless. worthless. down to his last.
he can still shine at one thing in his life. and that one thing he would be so darn good at nobody in the world can ever take his place.
be it in the field of science, field of art. working as a clerk, working as a postman. checking drainage pipes for chokes, dissecting kingfishers in record time. flying, tiptoeing on his last two toes.
something only he can do and that outshines every single human on earth.
and doing that thing gives us immense pride. it gives us the drive, the impetus, the push.
because deep down inside, we want to feel we are special. and indeed we are. we are all unique.
so no matter what you do in life, know that there is at least one thing in life you can do better than anybody else. just as the broken clock tells correct time twice, every dog has its day.
