The name Bullet For My Valentine makes me think back on the blue roses on Feb 14. Damn I sure as hell wish I had given her bullets instead. Har har har very funny but I'm not kidding. Anyways THIS ALBUM JUST BLOWS MY MIND! I was never a fan of screamo but BFMV walks the thin line between plain irritating and Acheleons of Coolness. And they are just so fucking awesome.
I can't really understand why people diss this album so much. I mean obviously they haven't heard "Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow (What Can I Do)" yet. The riffs on that song just makes me want to jack a car GTA style and race off. "All These Things I Hate (What Can I Do)" is a worthy first single as it shows this band's ability to seamlessly switch between acoustic and heavy metal. But the true magic of this album is the powerhouse tracks that are scattered all over. What technical ability. What a breath of fresh air. This is definately a good album to break people into the genre of emocore and screamo. Delicately balanced and expertly executed.
