today i'm the richest man ever!
not in terms of cash dammit. lest you guys come queueing up my door and asking me for loans. but in something much more precious and rare to find. friends.
sadly it is true that only in the darkest and most lonely period of your life do you find the true worth of your friends. these aren't your fair-weather friends who toss you at your time of need. friends who just want to call you out to have fun, to take advantage of you and then forget you. nope not at all.
these are God's blessings on you. your true friends. friends whom you can neglect for months (highly not recommended!) on end but still call upon you to assist you and check up on you.
they are the ones that know that not all things is fine even when it seems that way. they know that people can hide so many things behind their smiles.
and there are even some who go to the extent of not even letting you sit 3 stops of mrt and spend 5 mins alone. they insist on accompanying you even at the cost of losing their comfortable seats. QQ, Amanda, Darren and Jane. CRAZY PEOPLE! not at all, instead they are the best of friends = )
so for my new new new resolution, i want to be a better friend myself. simply cos i will never forget the way i was treated by you guys out there. if you told me that nyp would have such a bastion of genuine angels i would gladly fail more modules and retain.
glad to find solace in you guys. many thanks to all esp to KA, Joan, CD, QQ, Xiao Ming, Terence, JX Shan and Sim. and sorry to those i've missed.
