just reached home by cab to round up a rather long but quite interesting day. the reason why i cabbed back was because i missed the bus. and my reason for doing so is that i overslept. i'm so tired from today's activities that i fell asleep on the 147. i knew that would happen so i set an alarm for 35 mins; the usual journey would take 45 mins but the bus driver today decided to do an initial d and apparently reached my house by 20 mins. ho-hum. but now that i'm home, it finally seems like my 17 gruelling hour day is coming to an end (7.30am up for school, then afterwards straight to work, then afterwards marathon, then afterwards home). guess when you're physically tired, its ok. when your phyically and mentally tired, you need more rest but when your physically, mentally and emotionally tired you need serious attention.

today was the great restaurant-esplanade-restaurant sprint! i did a most honourable and courageous thing today; overcome my fear of flowers to pay for and deliver a lovely bouquet for a lovely friend of mine. i helped him collect it from town, store it at my restaurant and then deliver it to his 'anata'. which sounds really quite harmless unless you got a fully booked restaurant and your mother breathing down your neck. but this should really be about my fear of flowers because i'm absolutely petrified of them after the valentines day debacle. i began to believe that giving flowers to a girl would only equate to heartbreak but its really not my girl now and neither is it my flowers. i know my dearest friend's not gonna be so unlucky ; )

anyway my day was spent milling about school attending over 7 hours of classes and lectures (all of the boring variety sadly) and my restaurant was packed to the max! only at 11pm did the customers start clearing. #$@%^#$^ assholes dont need to go to work but i still need to get to school the next morning ok! anyway tomorrow's roadshow day so i better do get enough rest. and chelsea lost to barca to cap up a most interesting and long day. yay.
