ok lets try this shit again. my parents raised me to be patient. and i know that it is a desirable virtue. besides i feel less like kicking the monitor now. lets go.

today was a real crappy day. it rained the whole day. and its kinda drab when you actually intended to visit phuket in the first place with the purpose of escaping the fucked up singaporean rainy season. but we still found stuff to do.

since it was raining, we headed to the shabby shopping centre by the beach 15 mins walk from the hotel. it was still drizzling late in the morning. oh it was shabby alright. nothing interested me and no brands i like too. so that means lesser choices for souvenirs for all my buddies back in SG (sorry fellas). its the thought that counts right.

after shopping my dad had a 20 mins lecture with me about independance. with independant travelling being the main topic. indie as in without family and stuff. just the few of us with backpacks, minimal cash, lots of guts and gaining lots of experience. so of course i agreed and i mentioned 3 places; laos, india and cambodia. one of which i'm definately gonna go 2 months later (most prob cambodia) and with heaven and yi shan permitting. hell if he doesnt agree to go i dont know who else to ask. everyday please plead with him! haha

the sun was up after shopping. so we headed to catch some waves. but only a few. cos the rain came soon after. drats. and then lunch was served - MCS!!! haha we had the super duper divine treat; PORK BURGERS!! only non-halal countries serve up these. and they absolutely rock! sorry herry. but yum. imagine the bliss all you chinese haha..

so we ended the day with steamboat. thai style. and i ate a whole potfull! feel so fat now. tmr better try to go to the gym. ok thats all folks. good night. miss ya girl.
