sososo where shall i begin. today sees not much action. my original plan of hittting shibuya and yoyogi did not take off as my dad suggested we visit akihabara and yokohama (which is not part of tokyo). akihabara was like a 30min stop. its supposed to be THE PLACE for technophobes or geeks or whatyoumayhaveit. so its kinda like a waste. we visited the LAOX electronics department store where they have like 4 buildings. so it was a quick tour, lots of vaccuum machines televisions md players yada yada. nth interesting. then we went across the street to this game shop. thats where the fun begins. they had lots of games and consoles and gadgetry. they had tons of girls mags, porno dvds and schoolgirl summer club dvds. now whys that doing in a game shop? if it were like that in singapore, id move my house to sim lim square. anyway the building was wicked sick. they had like a cosplay cafe at the 6th floor where the waitresses dress up in those small gothic costumes with make up all. but the highlight was definately the PSPs. value packs retail for 26000 yen which comes up to 403 sing. tax included. so what the hell are you waiting for? all those interested please leave me a tag. i d only charge 500 heh. so we went to yokohama after the brief stop. we went to some motomachi town which is like the ginza of yokohama. lots of obbatarion marching with purpose thru and fro. bought a silver necklace for my sister and a matching silver bracelet for my mum. they had these really neat pet bars where you can hook up your pooch and pour water in a neat little space. and boy did the folks there love pooches. they had shops selling pooch clothes that cost more than mine. wish i could show you some pics but its really inconvenient to send it now. then we headed to chinatown for lunch. they have 2 chinatowns in japan one here and one in hokkaido if im not wrong. and lunch was horrific. the only thing special was that the staff spoke chinese. 1 bleeding chinese egg omelette which taste like my cooking costs 1980. do your math. bleeding 30 bucks egg. all you folks out there run to your zhi cha stores and be thankful. we ordered sweet and sour pork, crappy egg and fried rice. all suck. dammit. still reeling from the shock. my god if they charged me for tea id grab a rock and break their showcase. took a pic of the signboard. so people, please avoid at all cost. and then there were these super long queues for chinese pow. the japs are easily swindled. mmm. but the most shocking of all sights is that of bae yong jun. i dont get it. every damn place i go, i see his face. amakura, asakusa and now yokohama chinatown. please please PLEASE. i know his hot. absolutely burning hot in japan now. probably more famous than koizumi and if he were to run for japanese prime minister he d win hands down. but for crying out loud. his korean. what has a korean got to do with chinatown?! he was endorsing some chinese herb. this guy is good looking but his a marketing miracle. he endorses tea, gum, cameras, herbs, PIZZAS, fuck probably miniature condoms too. dammit i wont be surprised to find bae yong jun toilet papers. although ive found socks already. so thats that. after chinatown, we headed for the yokohama marine port where we took a sea bass ship. took lotsa pics of the titanic equailavent super significant hikawa maru. and then we stopped off at akai something. they had these red brick warehouses which have been transformed into a shopping district. and outsied, there was this flower dance celebration. which was really a flower show albeit friggin gorgeous. not tsubaki no mai you naruto enthusiasts. bought a really nice hand made hxxxxxxxe xxxxx for HER. cos i thought i wasnt gonna go to hard rock cafe. its situated in roppongi and someplace else. they had a potato and steel mosquito fair in the warehouses. some art exhibits. lets face it the japs are weird. though the potatoes are nice i might add. the mosquitos were friggin ridiculous. hyuk. then we headed to the training boat/museum the nippon maru. all japanese wannabe sailors have to take this as a trial craft. mmm. ho-hum. and then the highlight of the day. HARD ROCK CAFE YOKOHAMA! SUGOI! finally. i got sth to show. mission success. bought 2 nice tops hope SHE would like. hell this is coming out of my paycheck. sob. then we took the keihin tohoku line for a one and a half hour ride from yokohama to tokyo warabi. and thats the end of day 4.
